Kerry Williams is a UK author based in the heart of England and writer of romantasy novels.
Copywriter by day, she gets lost in a world of magic at night, either in her writing or in what she reads. Her creative roots were cultivated by the writing of the unforgettable Anne Rice, she also adores the work of Erin Morgenstern, Holly Black and J. K. Rowling.
These days you will often find her with her nose buried in a romantasy novel – follow on Goodreads for all her reading adventures and only positive reviews - there is enough negativity in this world!
She graduated from Brunel University with a 2:1(hons) in Creative Writing. She is an avid cat lady, die hard tea drinker and eternal star gazer. Always known to her family as a daydreamer, she and her young daughter, Ivy, can often be found looking at the moon.
Her debut romantasy trilogy, was published in 2023 by Skye High Publishing, owned by romance best seller, Shandi Boyes. Book one, a twisty and magical Peter Pan inspired YA fantasy romance, Other Nature, was inspired by a tiny moment 2003’s live action film Peter Pan starring Jeremy Sumpter. From then on, she was obsessed with the idea of an individual having such an influence on the world around them. It’s a magical story of first love, nature-based magic and found family. It continues in book two, Gemini, which draws upon her own experiences in India and takes place on the banks of the Ganges River in Varanasi. Book two is a coming-of-age tale of betrayal and a decent into darkness. The trilogy ends in The Setting Sun, the thrilling finale to a wicked corruption arc.
Unfortunately, after only a little over a year of publication Skye High Publishing closed its doors and the original version of Other Nature went out of print in June 2024. However, with the author rights fully reverted, a new version of the Other Nature trilogy is now available on Amazon having been self-published by Williams in Summer 2024.
Her sophomore duology, The Darkness Duet, was acquired in a two-book deal by Hot Tree Publishing and is set for a 2025 release. Book one, Daughter of the Drowned, is a dark and occult-filled adult romantasy where The Sixth Sense meets Greek myth. Book one was inspired by a love of Greek mythology and the dark world of the arcane. It’s a redemption story of a lost soul, finding their place in the world and embracing their inner darkness. It features childhood friends to lovers, and a love triangle with Death himself. Be sure to check the trigger warnings.
