FOR AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER I'VE BEEN A DREAMER
It was always a long-running joke when I was growing up that my head was forever in the clouds. I was ‘dolly daydream’, even to this day my long-suffering partner will tell you how hard it is to get me out of my own imagination.
I think there must be a natural instinct in me to escape reality, and reading has always been in my blood. One of my earliest memories is my mom taking me to the library. It was the most magical place, full of dusty books and winding stacks. Looking back, it was old! But it fired my imagination.
My nan was also a great reader. We would have a Sunday roast together every week and she would tell me all about the latest book she was reading. Most notably It by Stephen King! She had me hooked, even if it did give me nightmares! This tradition continued, we’d always chat books and I, in return, got her addicted to Anne Rice books when I was a teenager.
Though I completed a Creative Writing degree and ideas for stories were always floating around in my head, I never could commit to writing something down in full. It wasn’t until the pandemic hit and I started writing again that the word count started mounting up and I realised I had a book on my hands.
I’m so excited to share with you the weird worlds and characters that live in my brain!

FAQ
WHO ARE YOU REPPED BY?
I don’t have an agent. The Other Nature trilogy is self-published, so for all enquiries, please email myself at contact@kerrywilliamsauthor.co.uk. The Darkness Duet (Daughter of the Drowned and She of the Shadows) is published by Hot Tree Publishing, for all enquiries about these books please contact my publisher at contact@hottreepublishing.com.
ARE YOUR BOOKS SPICY?
The short answer is no, I prefer to focus on the yearning. There is, however, tension and steam. Some scenes are fade to black (especially in Other Nature which is YA) and there are some scenes where intimate acts are implied, though they’re never described in great detail and focus on emotion rather than the physical - that is left to your wonderful imagination.
